The 2026 Cody Pools Sunshine Classic, hosted at the prestigious Cleveland Heights Golf Course, was more than a day of competitive golf—it was a concerted effort to address a critical safety challenge: preventing autism drownings in Florida. By aligning the resources of American Pools & Spas Orlando, Cody Pools Tampa, and Cody Pools Texas, we launched a unified, company-wide initiative dedicated to supporting the Baby Otter Swim School.

The core objective of this event was to provide funding for specialized swimming lesson programs tailored specifically for children with autism. These programs are vital, as they focus on teaching life-saving survival techniques designed to prevent accidental drowning deaths and provide families with essential water safety skills.

Through the combined generosity of our participants, industry partners, and staff, we successfully raised $41,181.00 for the Baby Otter Swim School. This contribution ensures that more families throughout Florida will have direct access to life-saving water safety training and specialized swim instruction.
